formary is a digital procurement platform for deep-drawn parts based in Backnang near Stuttgart. We combine expertise in plastic deep drawing with digitalization know-how. Our goal is to reduce the effort required by customers and suppliers through smart, fast, and effective processing from inquiry to delivery. As a contractual partner to our customers, we develop customized projects that are manufactured with precision by our specialized network of suppliers.
Our Mission
We aim to create a win-win situation for our industry as a platform by reducing time and effort for both customers and suppliers.
On the customer side, the focus is on simplifying and error-free purchasing processes that are often intransparent and exhausting—from initial inquiry to delivery. We achieve this through:

Where we come from
From decades of thermoforming expertise to a digital industrial start-up. Innovation meets down-to-earth values.
The idea for formary first emerged in 2018 with founders Lisa-Marie Bittner and Moritz Bittner, shortly after they joined their family business. There, they encountered deep expertise in thermoforming but quickly recognized the weaknesses of manual procurement processes. In 2021, formary launched as a start-up. Today, around 30 employees are working toward one goal: to digitalize the thermoforming industry.

The formary Operations Team proactively supports all project stages—from data creation and prototyping to series production—and ensures that customers can concentrate on their core business.
